New Volunteer Training

The Code Blue Project a​nd the work of CSSH is considered an essential service. To learn more about becoming a CSSH Code Blue volunteer,

IN-PERSON TRAINING

Volunteer training will last approximately 2 hours and will be held on the following dates:

                                       1. Saturday, November 4th at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in St. Mary's Hall located at 235 East State Street,

                                          Doylestown, PA 18901
 

                                      2. Saturday, November 11th at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road,
                                         
Doylestown, PA 18902

                                      3. Saturday, January 6th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church/Parish Hall, 301 N. Main St., Doylestown, PA 18901

VIRTUAL TRAINING
 

For those electing virtual on-line training, please review the instructions and links below  (Box on left side) to complete all requirements and paperwork to qualify as a CSSH shelter volunteer. If you are also interested in being a driver, take the Volunteer Shelter Training first, then the Volunteer Driver Training.

 Sign Up for On-line Training

1.   View the 50 minute CSSH  Volunteer Shelter Training

2.  Complete your required paperwork and submit it to Megan at codeblue@co2ssh.org.

4. Create Volunteer Hub Account.

 

Sign Up for In-person Training

1. Create Volunteer Hub Account.

2.  Sign in to select the date and register for your in-person training. Your required paperwork will be provided at the training.

3. Contact Megan at codeblue@co2ssh.org if you need help or have questions.

 

 

Tra​nsportation Volunteers

1.  Driver training for new volunteers is ONLY for volunteers who have completed the  Volunteer Shelter Training.

4. Complete your required Annual Driver Certification and submit it to Megan at codeblue@co2ssh.org.

 

 Driver and Attendant Training

Driver & Attendant Training prepares individual members of the Volunteer Team to support the transportation of guests to and from the emergency shelter during the Code Blue season.
