New Volunteer Training

VIRTUAL TRAINING
To complete on-line training, see below (scroll to bottom of this page - box on left side) to complete all requirements (watch video) and to complete the necessary steps to qualify as a CSSH shelter volunteer. If you are also willing to help by being a van driver, complete the Volunteer Shelter Training first, then the Volunteer Driver Training.
In- Person Training (to download a copy of our in-person training flyer, click HERE): lasts approximately 1.5 hours and will be held on the following dates:

Online Training
1. View the 50 minute CSSH Volunteer Shelter Training. This video has audio narration.
2. Create Volunteer Hub Account and complete the registration form and acknowledgements. View the Confidentiality Policy. This will be followed by a mandatory background screening (link to be emailed).
3. If you have any questions or if you have completed online training and created your account, contact Megan at codeblue@co2ssh.org or 866-390-0291 x 0 for next steps.
Steps to register for in-person training (optional; registration NOT necessary)
Contact Megan - codeblue@co2ssh.org or 866-390-0291 x 0 if you need help or have questions. Registration is not necessary to attend an in-person training session.
Transportation Volunteers (Van Drivers)
2. View the CSSH Driver Training.
3. Complete your required Annual Driver Certification and submit it to Megan at codeblue@co2ssh.org.
Driver Training
Driver Training prepares individual members of the Volunteer Team to support the transportation of guests to and from the emergency shelter during the Code Blue season.
